1.5 years follow-up
This patient did not want any kind of metal in the mouth. She had good quality and quantity of bone to have multiple CeraRoot implants placed in the mouth. The latest panoramic xray (7 years post surgery) shows stability of bone around the implants. The hygiene of the patient is not really good, but enough to maintain the implants healthy. If this patient was a smoker, the bone levels around the implants and the health of the gum would not be the same.
All the teeth on the upper maxilla, had to be removed. On the same day of teeth extractions, the implants were placed and a fixed temporary bridge was placed. The patient was on soft diet for 4 months. The last image shows 3.5 years after the implants were placed. The patient is happy and decided to have improved the esthetics on the lower teeth, and had all-ceramic veneers cemented.
The upper teeth were removed and the implants were placed on the same day. A fixed temporary bridge was placed on the upper implants on the second day after surgery. After 2 months, all the teeth on the lower arch were extracted and several implants placed. A fixed temporary bridge was cemented on the lower teeth. After 5 months, several adjustments were done to correct the deep bite and deliver a stable occlusion. The patient had several apical infections in many of the teeth, most teeth had metal posts inside the roots. The patient was happy to have all the metals from her mouth removed.
This a 7 year follow-up case of a patient that had multiple teeth extracted and replaced with several types of CeraRoot implants. The patient has good oral hygiene and this makes the soft tissue be really healthy around the one-piece CeraRoot implants. The panoramic xray and the last intraoral pictures is 7 years after the surgery.
